Marguerite Hermann

Marguerite H. Hermann, 83, passed away August 15, 2010. Marguerite was born November 25, 1926 to Hugh and Elizabeth Herbertson. She moved to Kansas City in 1950 from Birmingham, Alabama. She retired from Montgomery Ward after 30 years. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Grover Lyle "Grumpy" Hermann; brother, Hugh Herbertson, Jr and two sisters, Ann Carter and Shirley Young. She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Youngberg and husband, Doug and Sharon Hermann; five grandchildren, Curtis, Crystal and Melissa Youngberg, Mario Joseph Vega and Lyle Andy Hermann and brother, Robert Herbertson. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 20 at the funeral home. Burial at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorials to the family in lieu of flowers.
