IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marjorie Frances
Boeschen
April 8, 1923 – January 15, 2026
Marjorie Frances Boeschen, 102, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026. She was born on April 8, 1923, in Concordia, Missouri, the youngest child born to Edwin and Emma Oetting.
Marjorie married her high school sweetheart, Adolph Boeschen, on January 27, 1946, shortly after his return from World War II. Their marriage was a true partnership, rooted in love and devotion, and together they were blessed with two sons.
During World War II, Marjorie put her sharp mind to good use. Her natural talent for mathematics and keen attention to detail made her an excellent proofreader. Following the war, she dedicated her life to being a homemaker, lovingly caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home.
Marjorie was a founding member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She enjoyed staying active and social, with favorite pastimes including bowling, bingo, and card games—especially Bridge. She was known for hosting Bridge parties that brought friends together in fellowship and fun. Marjorie also loved traveling and relished in every opportunity to spend time with family.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Adolph Boeschen and her son, Phillip Boeschen. She will be forever missed by her son, Bruce (Paula) Boeschen; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.
Burial will be held at a later date at Terrace Park Cemetery.
