Marjorie Ann (Ohlde) Carr, 86, was called home by our Lord on April 19, 2025, while surrounded by family. She was born October 4th,1938 to Martin and Gertrude (Timm) Ohlde in Linn, Kansas.
Marge was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. Out of the titles she had, her favorite was Great Grandma. Marge loved to travel but always loved Colorado the most. She loved embroidery, reading, and working on puzzles. She loved to make all kinds of sweets, and always took the time to make everyone their favorites. Most of all, she loved her flowers and her yard art.
Marge loved her Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas State Wildcats! She was known for taking her oldest granddaughters to cheer on their KSU Wildcats each year. When it came to her Chiefs, she made it known you don’t call during the game. She loved sleepovers with her grandchildren in their younger years and the next morning making them pancakes the size of silver dollars and giving them a can of Cherry Pepsi to replace milk for breakfast.
She was extremely fond of Neil Diamond and listened to him everywhere she went. Marge would even play him for her grandchildren when she went on road trips with them to see her sister out in Linn, Kansas. Marge was kind, fun loving and very thoughtful. We are going to miss her greatly and be left with holes in our hearts that are not fillable.
Please feel free to wear your best blue jeans and boots, K-State, or Chiefs gear as Marge would want us to all be comfortable.
She is preceded in death by Martin & Gertrude (parents), Elaine Gish (sister), Robert “Bob” Ohlde (brother) & Sheila Carr (daughter-in-law). She is survived by her children Jon Carr, Randy & Denise Carr, Kris & Cliff Conley, Wendy & Scott Bermond; grandchildren Harry & Megan, Cara & Nick, Mandi & Wyatt, Victoria & Andrew, Emma & Kaleb; great grandchildren Remie, Lyla, Hayden, Walker, Joey, Ari; sister Nancy (Roger) Otott; and many nieces and nephews.
