Marsha Lynn Johnson

Marsha L. Johnson, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, June 4th 2024. Marsha was born on December 14, 1955, in Dallas, Texas and adopted by loving parents Donald K. and Francis M. (Fields) Murray. She joined the love of her life in marriage, William F. (Bill) Johnson, on December 14, 1974. Together they were blessed with a son, Sean.

Marsha loved family, friends, music, gardening, reading, and genealogy. She was a founder of The Kansas City Adult Adoptees Organization and an active supporter of the drama department of Oak Park High School where both she and her son attended. She was a Vice President of Commerce Bank in the Personal Trust Department for over 20 years.

She was predeceased by both of her parents. Survivors include husband Bill and son Sean. Sister Sue Earhart, her husband Mike, and daughters Lisa, Tee, and Jean of North Carolina. Also, many cherished friends.

A celebration of life will be held at The Venue (232 NE Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64155) on Sunday June 30th 2024 from 11:00am until 3:00pm. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Kansas City Pet Project or the USO of Missouri in her honor.
