Martha Carr

Martha Jeanne Carr, 90, passed away November 29, 2021. Visitation will be from 1-2pm at Christ Lutheran Church, 6700 NW 72nd Platte Woods, MO. Memorial service to follow at 2pm. Committal following the service at Christ Lutheran Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Christ Lutheran Church or Kansas City Hospice.

Martha graduated from Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Arkansas and attended Arkansas State University. Martha enjoyed traveling and playing bridge. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church for close to sixty years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Katherine (Hall) Tull, husband, William Gene Carr, and son, Capt. Ron Carr.

Survivors include two daughters: Patty Waters of Omaha, Nebraska, and Diana Carr-Trumble (Rick) of Platte City, Missouri; brother-in-law, Joe A. Carr; six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
