Maxine “Nanny” Atwood, 92, of Smithville, Mo passed away August 20, 2014. Funeral services are 2:00 pm Saturday August 23rd at Terrace Park Funeral Home, with visitation preceding services 1 – 2 pm. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to her church, Landmark Baptist Church. Nanny will be forever in our hearts and never forgotten. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woody. Survivors include her daughters, Carol LaPlant, Donna Lindsey, 4 granddaughters, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
