Norma Spencer

Norma M Spencer, 90, Kansas City, MO passed away Monday, March 18, 2019, at Liberty Hospital. Services are Friday, March 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St KCMO.

Norma was born September 25, 1928 in Kansas City, MO to Bill and Edith Shirk. Prior to becoming a full-time mother and homemaker, Norma enjoyed being a Harvey Girl at the KC Union Station and operating Norma’s Café where she met and later married Ward A Spencer on April 18, 1947.

Survivors include three daughters; Laura (Al) Hiller, Joyce (John) Stewart and Gail (Ron) Humphreys, five grandchildren; Luke, Jacob, Zachary, Joshua and Audrey, five great-grand children, and sister; Billie (Ray) Howerton and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
