Phil Anderson

Phillip Anderson, age 88, of Parkville, Missouri (previously of Bismarck, ND) passed away on May 29^th, 2024, surrounded by family.  He was born October 1^st, 1935 in Ohiowa, Nebraska.  In 1956, Phil married Jackie Honnold in Winterset, Iowa and they had four wonderful and truly amazing children.  Phil spent most of his career working for IBM as a typewriter repairman.  Phil was many things: a pilot, a fisherman, a handyman, loved camping and dealing cars, and was unapologetically generous. He loved the Lord, served on many church boards and after retirement from IBM, served as a mobile missionary for the MAPS organization. Most recently, Phil truly enjoyed living in Parkville and watching planes fly overhead.  

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Anderson; Mary Anderson-Dick (Cordell) of Parkville, MO; Nancy Anderson Dollinger (Kelly) of Bismarck, ND; his sons, Mark Anderson (Traci) of Olathe, KS and Curt Anderson (Crystal) of Weaverville, NC.  His grandchildren, Tim Miller of Bismarck, ND; Ryan Anderson (Natalie) of Shawnee, KS; Eli Miller (Kara) of Bismarck, ND; Shawna Buchanan (Jason) of Hillsborough, NC; Moriah Brower (Andrew) of Shawnee, KS; Jordan Taylor (Jason) of Oklahoma City, OK; Carson (Joanne) Anderson of Kansas City, MO; Shelby Nelson (Shea) of Highlands Ranch, CO; Logan Anderson of Olathe, KS; Hannah Anderson of Weaverville, NC; Connor Anderson of Weaverville, NC. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
