Ramona V. Curtis

Ramona V. Curtis, 85, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. She was born January 29, 1938, in Seneca, Missouri to the late John and Opal Farmer.

She was a jokester and the matriarch of the family. She retired from the Social Security Administration where she was a benefit authorizer. She enjoyed reading, dancing, watching birds and planting flowers. Ramona was dearly loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children Donna Lovelace, Edward Curtis and Rhonda Cox, grandchildren Carla, Cindy, Joe and Angie. 6 great grandchildren she is also survived by her sister Millie and companion Charles Sykes.

In addition to her parents, Ramona is preceded in death by her granddaughter Kristina, son-in-law Steve, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 2 PM until time of service at 4 PM all at Terrace Park Funeral Home 801 NW Shoal Creek Pkwy. Private interment will in Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society are encouraged in Ramona’s memory.
