Robert Wayne Cook

Robert Wayne Cook, 69, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on September 12, 2025. He was born on May 8, 1956, the eldest of five children to Wayne and Roberta Cook.

Robert was a skilled handyman and a true jack-of-all-trades. Whether it was fixing something mechanical, building houses, or tackling remodeling projects, he always found a way to get the job done. He was generous with his time and talents, always willing to lend a hand to others. A lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan, Robert loved football and found joy in life’s simple pleasures—admiring old cars, watching the rain, cruising on his four-wheeler, or trying his luck at the casino.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lacey and Lois Cook; brother, Ryan Cook; and grandson, Miles Cook. He will be greatly missed by his children; Jeremy and Michael (Terri) Cook; grandchildren, Cooper and Bentley Cook; significant other, Sarah Curry; sister, Lona Cook; and many extended family and friends.
