Robert L. "Cookie Man" Pyle

Robert “Cookie Man” Pyle, 70 of Kansas City, MO, passed away in Riverside, MO on January 18, 2023. He was born to the late Robert and Gertrude Pyle on November 19, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Robert was employed as a truck driver for over twenty years with the Keebler Company. He was well known to those around him as the “Cookie Man.” Bob always had loads of cookies with him wherever he went. Most people knew him by his nickname and referred to him this way.

One of his favorite hobbies was spending time with his sons out on the water. They enjoyed fishing and carrying on together.

He was onery and enjoyed having fun throughout his life. Bob had a big heart and was very caring to those he held dear to him. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was loyal, and a kind friend to all.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Raymond Pyle; and sister: Ramona Hernandez.

Survivors include his three sons: Steven Jacobs, Jeremy (Antoinette) Jacobs; and Josh Jacobs; brother: Ronnie Pyle; and brother: Rodney Pyle; as well as his grandchildren: Jayveon, Ja’Niyah, Anthony, Lavant, Stevi, and Jordan.
