Robin Beaird

January 18, 1944 — September 6, 2018

Robin Ray Beaird, 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 6, 2018. Robin was born in Liverpool, England on January 18, 1944 to Raymond and Sylvia (Thompson) Beaird.

He spent many years working for Guy’s Food as a route driver. He loved reading and learning from the Bible. Robin enjoyed many hobbies and pastimes, but especially enjoyed his trips to the mountains. Robin also loved all sports, especially basketball. He loved railroad train models and model hot rod cars, especially the Corvette and going to the Kansas City area car shows. He was a very knowledgeable man and studied our country’s history, astronomy and government. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Rose (Badami) Beaird; his sons, Robert Beaird and Jim Beaird; his daughter, Annette Fry; his grandchildren, Daniel, Steven and Mathew Offield, Jimmy, Rocky, Frank and Maria Beaird, Sophia, Raquel, Francesca and Dominic Beaird.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 11:00-12:00 at New Life Community Church. The Funeral service will take place following the conclusion of the visitation at 12:00. Interment will take place in Terrace Park Cemetery immediately after the funeral service.
