Ronald Ervin Lee

February 24, 1941 – September 23, 2025

Ronald Ervin Lee, 84, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025.

Ron was born on February 24, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri to Helen and Ervin Lee and grew up farming with his family. Over the course of his life, he made his home in Gladstone, Missouri; Janesville, Wisconsin; Troy, Michigan; and finally, Arlington, Texas. Ron proudly served in the United States Army where he was awarded Outstanding Trainee. He was a dedicated employee of General Motors for 33 years becoming the Personnel Director at the Arlington Assembly Plant where he built lasting friendships and a reputation for hard work and dependability.

Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathy Lee; his son, Kevin Lee (Laura); his stepdaughters, Melissa Omari and Deena Parks (Jerry); and his beloved granddaughters, Lucy and Sylvie Parks. He is also survived by his brother, Bob Lee (Nina); and his sister, Jan Cockrill (Mike); brothers-in-law Bob Cromley, John Cromley and Rick Cromley (Ruth); and many cherished nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Lee; his son, Jeff Lee; and his parents Ervin and Helen Lee.

Ron was happiest when surrounded by family. He loved hunting with his dear friend Charlie Dollar, chewing on a cigar, reading Western novels, and he never missed his daily nap. Known for his gentle humor, he had a special way of teasing those around him with warmth and affection. His quiet strength, kind spirit, and devotion to those he loved will be remembered by all who knew him.
