Obituary

Roslyn (Adams) Clark, 84, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on February 19, 2026.

Roslyn was born on June 5, 1941 in Newark, NJ, she was the only child born to Bertha and Charles Adams. In her early childhood she moved to Olathe, KS and later to Kansas City, MO where she was raised and would go on to graduate from Northeast High School. Shortly after graduation she went to work at the Kresge Five and Dime Store where she met the love of her life Gary Clark and they soon began their wonderful life together. They were married on July 19, 1959 and were blessed with two sons. Roslyn was a caring, loving wife and mother that provided guidance, compassion and unwavering support to her family. While being a wife and mother was her true joy, she also had a successful career as the Payroll Manager for BG Maintenance where she eventually retired. In her free-time she cherished nothing more than to spend time with her family supporting and attending various activities while her sons were growing up. Roslyn will fondly be remembered for her deep love and devotion to her sons as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When Roslyn became a grandmother and a great-grandmother there was no looking back. There was no-where else she'd rather be than with these children. She truly treasured each of them and they adored her right back with the same love and adoration. They will each have the fondest memories of her to cherish and to pass on to future generations.

Roslyn is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Gary; her son, Steven Clark; her grandson, Dillon Clark and her parents. She will be greatly missed by her son, David (Rhonda) Clark; daughter-in- law, Leslie Clark; 4 grandchildren, Anthony (Christina) Clark; Amanda (Max) Andersen; Nicole (Drew) Vaden and Gary (Allie) Clark; granddaughter-in-law, Vanessa Clark; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home, on Saturday, February 28th with visitation from 1 pm-2pm, followed by the funeral service at 2pm, and graveside service immediately after. A reception will follow at the Lakeside Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
