Sandra Jean Shepherd

Sandra Jean Shepherd, born on May 15, 1947, peacefully departed this world on May 18, 2025. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and cherished moments that resonate deeply with the family she devoted herself to.

A spirited woman with an adventurous heart, Sandra found joy in the excitement of casinos, where the thrill of the game matched her vibrant personality. Alongside her passion for gaming, she harbored a love for reading that brought her quiet solace and endless exploration into new worlds. Yet, it was in the warmth of her home and the bonds of her family that Sandra truly thrived. She found immense fulfillment in being a mother and grandmother, embracing every opportunity to nurture and create lasting memories with her loved ones.

Sandra's laughter was a beacon, lighting up every gathering, and her unwavering support provided comfort in times of need. She had a remarkable ability to listen and to understand, qualities that made her not just a family member, but a cherished friend and confidante.

As we gather to share in our grief and our gratitude for having known her, let us carry forward the light she brought into our lives and ensure her spirit continues to shine brightly in our hearts.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents: Walter B. and Ruth V. Stephenson.

She is survived by her loving husband: Clifford Shepherd; children: Melanie (Robert) Kennett, Gregory Shepherd, Angela (Todd Sr.) Adams, and Wesley Shepherd; grandchildren: Danielle, Ashley, Todd Jr.; Julia, Olivia; great grandchildren: Kacie and Noah; one brother: Mark Stephenson; and one sister: Janice (Daniel) Graham; as well as many other family and friends.
