Sheron D. Ruys

On Sunday, September 17, 2023, Sheron Ruys, loving mother and wife, passed away peacefully in her home.  Sheron grew up in the Chillicothe area with her 4 siblings, Rick, Randy, Steve, Kim and her parents Dale and Kay Lowrey.  She married William Busby on June 13, 1964, and together they had their daughter, Erika.  Sherry remarried later in life to J. Peter Ruys on October 24, 1992,  who also had a daughter, Ashley C. Kotkin.  Together, Sherry and Pete returned to the Kansas City area, settled in northern Kansas City and spent the last 6 years with family and friends.

Her sense of humor, her laugh and her caring nature will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.  We will hold her closely in our hearts.

Details of a celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
