Shirley J. Novinger 72, of Gladstone, Missouri passed away March 7, 2010. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 11th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, with visitation 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.Shirley enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her father, LaVern Snyder, 3 brothers in law, Carroll M. Phipps, James W. Riley, Ronald D. Green, and nephew, Dylan Miller. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Eugene Novinger, daughter and son in law, Debbie and Danny Stephens, son, Rick Novinger, mother, Irene Snyder, 2 granddaughters, Charissa Stephens, Ava Grace Althoff, sisters, Pat Phipps, Marilyn Riley, Brenda Swisher, and husband, Kenneth, 2 sisters in law, Betty Lou Cole, and husband, James, Shirley Green, mother in law, Hilda Novinger, and several nieces and nephews.Arrangements under the direction of Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 N.W. 108th Street; Kansas City, MO (816) 734-5500
