Shirley Jeanne Terreau, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024. Born August 13,1935 to Clarence and Phyllis Seiboldt. Shirley was an embodiment of faith, love, and elegance.

She was a devoted mother to her children and adored her sons. The love she showed to her family was boundless and knew no end. Shirley embraced her time with the people in her life and was a testament of kindness.

She was a woman of profound faith, her life was an example of compassion and integrity.

Shirley was a devoted flight attendant and ground hostess for TWA Airlines. She enjoyed her position and served with great dedication.

Shirley had a special place in her heart for her horse Beauty, and dogs who brought her immense happiness. Her love for animals matched her enthusiasm for travel and she was always up for a good card game of bridge. She was a wonderful cook as well.

Shirley was well known for impeccable style, an embodiment of class and sophistication. She always looked her best and carried herself with a quiet dignity that reflected her inward beauty as well.

She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and will be dearly missed by all.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her beloved companion: Lee Hauer, sons: Kevin Rowan, and Kerry Rowan, stepson: Willie Terreau, stepdaughter: Jeri-Jill Wood, grandchildren: Lukas Rowan, Ashley Rowan, Chloe Rowan, and, Jason McMachen.

 

Services to honor Shirley’s life will be held on August 27, at Platte Woods United Methodist Church.

The church is located at, 7310 NW. Prairie View Road, Platte Woods Missouri 64151

With a visitation from 10:00 – 11:00

Funeral Service from 11:00 – 12:00

Luncheon from 12:00 - 1:00

Interment at Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery 1:30

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of breast cancer.
