Tara Biswell

Tara Biswell, 46 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. Tara graduated from Winnetonka High School. Tara had a beautiful and infectious smile. She spent much of her free time with friends and family, and would often call multiple times a day just to check on them. She enjoyed spending time with her  Life Unlimited staff and housemates Mary and Maria. Being part of the Life Unlimited community living program helped Tara maintain her independence, dignity and learn life skills, she worked at VSI for many years working at VSI provided Tara with acceptance and purpose in the community, her coworkers were always there to support her. She also enjoyed eating out and watching Chiefs football.

Tara was loved by many and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her son Shawn, mother, Joyce; step mother, Linda Biswell, siblings, Crystal Biswell , Aaron Biswell wife Kelly, Colby Biswell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Tim Biswell, and will be laid to rest next to him.

 A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12th from 6-8pm at Terrace Park Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Linda Biswell to help with Tara's aftercare and final expenses.
