It is with deep respect and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Timothy W. Jones, who departed this life on July 8, 2026, just one day shy of his 56th birthday.

Born on July 9, 1970, Timothy, known affectionately to many as Tim, was a beloved member of the community whose presence touched all who knew him. A proud graduate of Winnetonka High School in 1989.

Tim devoted his entire career to the retail industry. Those who worked alongside him remember him as a hard-working and dedicated employee, always willing to lend his support where it was needed most.

Outside of work, Tim found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fan of wrestling and cheered enthusiastically for the Kansas City Chiefs. His love for movies and music was profound, providing him solace and excitement through life.

But perhaps what set Tim apart most was the character he brought to every encounter. Known for his sense of humor and goofiness, he could fill any room with laughter. Affectionately referred to as a gentle giant, Tim’s loving and kind nature left an indelible mark on those blessed to call him friend or family. He was the go-to person whenever something needed fixing—gifted with a knack for solving problems and possessing a willingness that always came from the heart. Tim’s readiness to offer a helping hand was his proudest accomplishment and his legacy: a steady presence that could always be counted upon.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents William and Helen Jones.

He is survived by his siblings, Christina Reynolds, and William (Sandra) Jones; nieces, Makayla Reynolds, Katelyn Reynolds, Amanda Jones; nephew, Steve Jones, as well as many more great nieces and nephews.

Timothy W. Jones will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for his generosity, compassion, and the warmth he brought to everyday life. His spirit lives on in the countless memories he leaves behind and in the acts of kindness he so freely gave.
