Timothy James Sneed, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on May 13, 2026.

 Tim was born on  June 30,1993 to Diona Sneed Kern and James Sneed. He graduated from North Kansas City High School in 2012. His love of animals led him towards a career at Shoal Creek Animal Hospital (AKA CareVet). Tim lived a full and vibrant life filled with loads of laughter, many family vacations, countless, tricks and jokes, and just good clean fun. He left a sparkle wherever he went; OK, maybe it was actual sparks because he had a knack for tinkering with electronics and fireworks. He enjoyed decorating everything in lights, playing video games with his nephew, late night drives that led to nowhere, runs to Starbucks, music, family, friends and animals; but more than anything else, Tim enjoyed spending time with his best friend and companion, Austin Bowman. His happiest moments were the ones that included being with Austin. They were truly the best fit for each other. To all of us, especially Austin, Tim was a genius and a hero. He was faithful and loyal to everyone he loved. He was nothing short of an amazing human being. To know Timothy James Sneed was to love him. 

He will be deeply missed by his companion,  Austin Bowman; parents,  James and Rachel Sneed and Diona and Brian Kern; siblings,  Bobby and Alli Kern, Matthew Sneed, Jayme Sneed,  Jessie and Katie Lear, and Christopher Gleason; nieces and nephews,  Chase, Liam and Emersyn Kern, Jordan and KayleeAna Sneed, and Mason Lear; grandparents, Gary and Elaine Sneed, and Timothy Henderleiter Sr.; aunts and uncles, John and Kandis Bierman, Leamon and Melissa Salsman, James Reddell, David and Tracy Sanders, Chris and Angela Driscoll, David and Heather Hosea, Nicole Henderleiter, J.D. and Diana Green, and Lisa Miles; cousins, Connor and Mariah Gibson, Haley Bierman, Kilie Fenton and family, Zachary and Jaxson Hoehn, Kevin and Courtney Maher and family, Jake and Ashley Driscoll, Bryce Driscoll, Garrett Sanders, Bryan and Chelsi Hosea, Michael and Chris Hosea, Hazel, Phoebe, Porter, and Cameron Henderleiter; childhood besties, Becca Crafton and family, Alyssa and Austin McNeal and family, and Grace Schmidt and family; bonus family, Ted and Karen Bowman and Kerri Foreman. He is preceded in death his grandparents, Charles and Anna Mason, Cathy Henderleiter, and Robert and Mary Kern; three uncles, John and Robert Reddell, and Tim Henderleiter Jr.; two cousins, Tyler and Kyle Driscoll.
