Timothy Walker

Timothy “Tim” Gail Walker of Dearborn, Mo was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather! He passed away peacefully surrounded and supported by his loving family and friends on May 16th, 2025 at the age of 72 years old.

Born on October 10th, 1952 in Evanston, Illinois to parents Edgar and Nona Walker. Tim enjoyed a loving childhood with 3 siblings being the youngest of the boys, and a little sister. They moved to Kansas City area early in life to Gladstone, Mo..and is where he was a graduate of Oak Park High School. Which is where he met through a mutual friend, the love of his life and devoted wife Judy Walker..with whom he married after a couple years of dating, and ended up sharing 51 beautiful years of marriage and 4 children. Their love story is one that will be remembered and celebrated as they marked their 52nd anniversary by just a couple of weeks later of his passing on June 1st, 2025.

Tim pursued 4 years of school in the IBEW Local 124 Electrical Apprenticeship becoming a Journeyman Electrician. Tim’s path continued on a 40 year career dedicated to his craft and supporting his wife and children with an amazing and beautiful life in the country. Most of his career was spent working for Shaw Electric and (ECA) Electrical Corporation of America, from the age of 22 until his retirement at 56 years of age.

Tim loved and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed giving and receiving sweet gifts from them and spoiling them whenever he could! His gentle spirit and willingness to help others, especially his wife Judy and all his children and friends defined his personality and the kindness within! Tim’s legacy will forever be cherished by those who knew his heart! His warmth for family, his compassion to provide, and unwavering support to anyone who needed it will forever be missed. As we honor and celebrate his life not only for the man and father he was but his achievements throughout his life and the love he fostered within his family and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents: Edgar Walker and Nona (Stow) Walker.

He is survived by his loving wife: Judy (Short) Walker; Son: Brian Walker and Tammy Walker, Granddaughters Taylor and Tristynn Walker; Son: Bradly Walker; Daughter: Bethany Walker, Granddaughter Abigail Hodges; Son: Cody Walker and Megan Walker, Granddaughters Alison and Emilee Walker. His Brother: Steven Walker, Nephew Jake Walker, Niece Sara Walker; Brother: David Walker and Marlene Walker; and Sister: Kathy (Walker) Groeger and Bob Groeger.
