Traci Lynn Bussell

September 8, 1970 — February 14, 2023

Traci Lynn Bussell, 52, of Lansing, KS, gained her heavenly wings at home surrounded by her loving family on February 14, 2023.

A day full of love, just like she was.

Traci was born in North Kansas City, to Robert “Bob” and Lori (Eckstein) Kimball on September 8, 1970. She graduated from Oak Park Highschool with a school letter in Marching Band.

Although she encountered battles from the start of her life to the very end, you would never have known it because she always kept a smile on her face and found the best out of life.

In 2010, fate brought her lifelong friend and soulmate, Chip Bussell, together where they would spend the rest of her years side by side building the life they loved. Traci was an avid gardener, Nascar and Chiefs fan, pinball player, amazing cook, and drummer. She enjoyed listening to her husband play the drums in the jam room of their home. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and especially treasured the memories they made at the Lake of the Ozarks. She also worked for Synchrony Financial for many years in the credit card billing department.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who created a nickname for everyone. She always looked forward to visits from her kids and grandkids so they could play arcade games together.

Traci is survived by her loving husband, Chip; children, Krista (David) Goodall of Knob Noster, MO and Kiara (Andy) Webb of Tipton, MO; grandchildren, Aubrey and Emma Goodall, Layla and Millard "Mick" Webb. Mother and Stepfather Lori and Larry Eckstein; Mother in Law, Linda Cooper and three sisters: Staci Slack, Kali Kimball, and Rachel Henley. As well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bob” Kimball; brother, Daniel “Skip” Ross; Grandfather and Grandmother, Clare and Javene Creviston; and Aunts, Chris Bowman and Cindy Lincicome.

We will forever remember Traci and her beautiful smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 19, from 5:30pm-9pm at Limitless Brewing in Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
