Virginia Bales

Virginia Gayle (Jennie) Bales, 74, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 20th, 2014, at NorthCare Hospice House. A visitation will be held at Gashland Baptist Church, Saturday, May 24th from 9:30-10:30 am followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 am. Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday, May 27th at Barry Cemetery. She was born to Virgil and Eva Bain on January 3, 1940. She married Roland Bales, May 18th, 1958, and became a devoted wife, loving mother, and an awesome grandmother and great grandmother. She was a firm believer in Jesus Christ, worked over 20 years at the Nazarene Publishing House, and was a member of Gashland Baptist Church. Jennie touched the lives of everyone she met in a positive way, making a lasting impact. She is survived by her husband, Roland of 56 years, son David and wife Karen, daughter Cindy and husband Buck, son Andrew, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
