Wanda McKeehan

Wanda Lea McKeehan, 86, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on March 6, 2024. She was born July 29, 1937, in Salisbury, Missouri to the late Raymond and Maydean (Reed) Nelson.

Wanda was an orthopedic tech for more than 20 years. Not being one to sit around she worked part time jobs for the next several years until her final retirement at age 77. She enjoyed playing games on her tablet, keeping up with friends and family on Facebook, reading working puzzles and other crafts.

She will be missed by her sister Ona (Floyd) Dickson, brother Gary Nelson, Son in law, Gene Bowles, several nieces, nephews, Peggy Sartain, Sammi Sartain and Robert Martinez all who loved her very much.

In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her husband Leroy McKeehan; whom she was married to for 47 years. Daughter Barbara Bowles, brother Larry Nelson, sister Janet Parker and nephew Ricky Dickson.

Graveside service will be held Friday, March 15, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Terrace Park Cemetery, 801 NW Shoal Creek Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64155.
