Jean Kimball

Willa Jean Kimball, age 77, joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on June 29, 2025.

Jean was born on May 8, 1948, in Marshall, Missouri, to John and Willie Triplett. An only child, she spent her early years moving between small towns due to her family’s farming background, before settling in Kansas City during her elementary school years.

Through a mutual friend, Jean met the love of her life, Morris Kimball. They were married on April 19th and shared 56 wonderful years together. Their union was blessed with three children, and Jean poured her heart into caring for her home and family.

As her children grew older, Jean extended her nurturing spirit to others, babysitting many of the neighborhood children. A devoted servant of the Lord, she was known for her gentle heart, warm presence, and unwavering faith.

She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her beloved husband, Morris Kimball; her children, Jason (Ann) Kimball, Christy (Jeremy) Bain, and James Kimball; grandchildren, Madlyn, Makayla, Angelina, Reese, A.J., Preston, Kyra, Alekzander, Ireland, and J.R.; and great-grandchildren, Nico, Reina, and Evelyn; and many extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, followed by the memorial service at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
