William (Bill) R. Baucom, 78, of Independence, MO passed away January 26, 2015 at a nursing home in Panama City, FL. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday February 3rd at Terrace Park Cemetery Lakeside Chapel (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek Prkwy, Kansas City, MO), with visitation preceding services 1 – 1:30 pm. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the NRA.
William retired from a career at Bendix Industries before moving to Southport, FL. He was active in his local church, and loved hunting in the outdoors. William was a lifelong member of the NRA. William was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Baucom, parents, Nancy and James Baucom, and a sister, Jenell Snyder. Survivors include his sister, Priscilla Miller, Shreveport, LA, several nieces, nephews, and several grand nieces and nephews. Online condolences may be sent to TerraceParkFuneral.com.
