William Dale Forbis passed away on June 2nd at NKC Hospital after a long illness. Born to Rosa Fae and William Fleet Forbis on December 5, 1944.

Bill moved to KC from Booneville to work at Braniff Airlines where he met and married Alice Tennison until her passing in 2009. He worked at United Parcel Service and retired in 2006.

An avid outdoorsman, Bill cherished hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He loved Indy car and was a train enthusiast.

Bill married Molly Gwinn July 5th, 2014, and inherited another son and six grandchildren. They all loved him from the very beginning. Both being retired enabled them to travel and fulfill that elusive bucket list. His sense of humor kept life upbeat, and he was always available to help those in need.

His departure will leave a deep sense of loss to all of those who held him close. Services will be held at Hillside Christian Church on Saturday June 13th at 3p.m. Located at 900 NE. Vivion Rd., Kansas City, Missouri, 64118.
