Alta was a regular at the Ford Retirement dinners as well as Bingo.  She was an avid card player with the Chillicothe Girls and was the designated driver for her friends around town until only recently.  She liked to keep in touch by phone and Facebook. Alta’s home was the hub of all family get togethers.  She would make tacos, ham and beans, biscuits and gravy, homemade noodles and just about anyone’s favorite meal. She was in the mix of planning and executing any and all gatherings. Everyone always knew she was in charge.
