Obituary

Clara “Jo” Williams, 83, of Parkville, MO passed away peacefully on March 22, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Joseph Taylor and Helen Johnson on May 27, 1938. She married the love of her life, David Lee Williams on June 08, 1956 at the Winnwood Methodist Church.

Jo spent most of her life, until the age of 80, owning and operating the Finders Keepers home décor and antique shop, located in Parkville, Missouri. She was known for her strong work ethic and will to succeed. Jo could go into any clover field and pick out a four-leaf clover in a split second. This gave her the logo for her business.

She enjoyed traveling with family in her free time. She loved all sports and made sure that she watched every baseball game of the Kansas City Royals.

Jo was a woman who loved her family with all her heart. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye and she would always show them off when she could.

Jo had a love for life and an enthusiastic personality that was contagious to all that knew her.

She will be dearly missed.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents; and brother: Mike (E. Anne) Taylor.

She is survived by her husband: David Lee Williams; daughter: Debbie Jo (Rick) Worley; son: David Paul (Diane) Williams; grandchildren: Scott (Kristen) Williams of Minneola, Florida; Michael (Nicole) Williams of Kansas City, MO; and Katie (Doug) Faltermeier of Shawnee, Kansas; great grandchildren: Natalie Harper, Julian Kevin, Maya Jo, and Mason Charles; and her beloved dog: Bosley; as well as numerous family and friends.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Della Lamb Kansas City, or your local animal shelter.
