Dennis Butler

Dennis F. Butler, 79, of Kansas City, passed away November 6, 2020. Private family services will be held for Dennis with burial to follow at Terrace Park Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, or Kidney Foundation.

Dennis was born on October 10, 1941 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Frank and Sophia (Grosko) Butler.  He was a graduate of Rockhurst High School and attended Rockhurst College.  He married Georgia Lantz on June 8, 1964.  Dennis was a Little League coach, and loved sports, especially the Royals.  He also enjoyed yardwork, Ford Mustangs, and telling stories to the family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; he is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Georgia; children:  Cindy (Mark) Bricker, Kelley (Robert) Sanders, and Denny (Trish) Butler, Jr.; grandkids:  Cole Bricker, Clay Bricker, Sophie Butler, and Isabell Butler; and his fur baby, Izzy.
