Gregory Stumpf

October 10, 1951 — December 20, 2021

Gregory Dean Stumpf, Son of the late Norman C Stumpf & Joyce Elaine(Thompson), was born on October 10th, 1951 in St. Joseph, Missouri and departed this life on December 20, 2021 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was 70 years old.

Gregory grew up around Kansas City with one sister and many cousins who he was very close with. He was known in his younger years for being an incredible drummer. He loved a great party. He took up the trade of Carpentry, training under his father and before long there was nothing he could not build out of wood. He was a very avid hunter and fisherman and loved being at the lake where he spent time with his family. He also loved planes and flying.

He is preceded in death by his son Kalab Michael, both parents, Norman C and Joyce Elaine Stumpf, and his wife of 30 years, Pamela Jean. He has been blessed with a large family who has survived him, including his sister Deborah Emery. His loving children children and spouses, Jamie and Kevin Cook, Deana Stumpf, Stephanie Stumpf and Brian Hempstead. Gregory has been blessed with seven Grandchildren over the years, including: Ashley, Brooke, Jordan, Sydney, Alyssa, Nora and Dean. He has also been survived by many cousins and two nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery - Lakeside Chapel on Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a time for Sharing Remembrances at 7 p.m.
