John “Jack” Chadwick was born on May 19, 1930, in Omaha, Nebraska, the only child born to Therma and Alta (Rossester) Chadwick. He used his skills to build and repair a variety of items, and he was affectionately known by his family as “Mr. Fix-it”. Jack and Maxine were longtime members of Avondale Baptist Church (now known as Solid Rock Bible Church). He was an avid animal lover - feeding the deer, birds, and stray cats that entered his yard - and he also enjoyed listening to the radio, whether it be talk radio, big band, or mariachi music.

Chadwick; grandchildren:  Jared West (wife, Amber), Josh West (wife, Diedre), and Jordan West (wife, Anna); great grandchildren:  Payton, Preston, Gabriella, Nathanial, Lucas, Savannah, and Sarah “Belle” West, and Erik “Brooks” West; sisters and brothers-in-law:  Juanita Bailey, Donna Soehlig, Georgia Ann Cross, Paul West (wife, Carolyn), Karen Barylski, Jack West, Jacqueline Zimmerle (husband, Kenny), and Pam Jackson (husband, Dan); plus many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
