Jaye Wholey

Jaye Lynn Wholey, 60, of Parkville, Missouri passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on January 15, 2022.

Jaye was born on February 21, 1961 in Kansas City, MO to Jay and Ellen (Moulder) Grunwald. After graduating from high school she began working for Hallmark. During her 30 years at Hallmark, she held many positions, including; lithographer, editor, compositor, proofreader, and lastly as a production artist. Jaye loved gardening, the smell of her lilacs, playing the piano and most importantly being with her family. Jaye had a strong, beautiful soul; unfailingly optimistic and recognizing the good in everything and everyone, even during her long battle with cancer.

She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her mother, Ellen Miller; father, Jay Grunwald; her loving husband of 30 years, Michael Wholey Jr.; children, Michael III and Matthew; brothers, Robert and Geoffrey; step-daughters, Lisa and Sara; grandchildren, Boston, Ariella, Ethan, and Logan; and many more extended family and friends. Jaye is preceded in death by her adoptive father, Robert Miller.

Services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Saturday, January 29th with visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, immediately followed by the memorial service at 2:00pm and burial.
