Larry Dollinger

Larry Gene Dollinger, 70, of Kansas City North, MO passed away Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019.   Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, May 1st from 6 – 8 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 2nd at 10 am.  Both services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street Kansas City, MO 64155.

Memorial contributions may be made to KU Medical Center & Hospital.

Larry was born on July 21st, 1948 in Abingdon Virginia, the son of Silvied Dollinger and Lacy Nunley.  Larry worked for Ford Motor Company for 33 years in the Welding and Fabrication department before being promoted to Quality Control Inspector until his retirement in 2009.  Larry will be remembered for his devotion to God and Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, his love of family, his gentle, gracious ways, his selflessness and his work ethic.  Larry was a loving husband to his wife, Dena Marie (Kindberg) Dollinger for 44 years.  He was a most loving father of seven children, Brian Matthew Dollinger and his wife Lori Ann of Myerstown Pennsylvania, Laura Jean Dollinger of Kansas City Missouri, Daniel (Danny) Joseph Dollinger of Cherokee Kansas, Nichole Lynn Voyles and her husband Ryan Matthew of DeMotte Indiana, Angie Meza and her husband Osiel of Liberty MO, Timothy Gene Dollinger of Chesterfield Michigan and Bill Smith Dollinger of Detroit Michigan.  Larry has 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Survivors also include three brothers, Jerry and wife Mary, Wayne and wife Brenda, Robert Dollinger and one sister Doris McGregor and husband Paul. Larry’s love of life was his faith, family and God’s animals.  Larry will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his faithful dog Khloe.
