Louise Gibson

Louise J. (Menter) Gibson,90, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at North Care Hospice. Louise, along with her twin sister, was born November 13, 1928 to Walter J. and Helen H. (Gee) Menter in Kansas City, Missouri.

Louise graduated from Northeast High School. She married Grady D. Gibson, the man of her life, Sept. 3, 1950 spending 63 wonderful years together until his death in October 2013. Louise, a full-time homemaker, enjoyed walks with Grady, chocolate and gardening. She was a member of Avondale United Methodist Church.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Grady D. and eldest son, Grady lee Gibson. She is survived by her twin sister, Lois Ebberts, sister-in-law, Pauline Swim, daughter, Paula Veal (Dennis), sons, David (Gina), and Gary Gibson, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, January 21, 2019. Both, the visitation at 10:00 AM and the Service at 11:00 AM will be held at Avondale United Methodist Church, 3101 NE Winn Rd, Kansas City, Missouri 64117. Burial will follow at Terrace park Cemetery, 801 NW 108th St., Kansas City, MO 64155.
