Marjorie Hunter

December 31, 1923 — January 26, 2021

Marjorie (Middleton) Hunter, age 97, of Kansas City, MO passed away on January 26, 2021 from natural causes.   Marjorie was born 12/31/23 in Johnson County, KS.  She was the youngest of 5 children raised on a farm & attended school in DeSoto, KS.   There she met & eventually married her high school sweetheart Wylie Hunter.  As an adult she was active in church and family life as a den mother, Girl Scout leader, state life member of the Missouri Branch of the National Congress of parents and teachers, elder in the Parkville Presbyterian Church, an avid bowler and Chinn Friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents (Levi and Bertha Middleton), her husband (Wylie Hunter) and siblings Kenneth Middleton, Geraldine Burnam, Harold Middleton and Billy Middleton.

Survivors include her son Herbert (wife Mary) Hunter, daughter Lynna Hunter, 3 grandsons, 6 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, 1 great great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
