Rosemarie Orr

Rosemarie June Orr “Dutchie”, 92, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022.  Born March 25, 1929, she was preceded by her husband, Donald (2009), her parents, two brothers and a sister.  She is survived by daughters Denise (Jeff) Valentine, Barbara Markley, Linda Kennedy and  Diane (Dan) Michaelis, 5 grandchildren, Ben and Jessie Valentine and Kyle, Alec and Karra Kennedy, and her beloved cat Coco.

Rosemarie enjoyed bowling, piano and accordion, cards with friends and sewing.  She was active in her church, North Cross Methodist, helping with the news letter, donated time at Della C. Lamb food pantry and “sew and sew” group making pillows for hospice.

Memorial services will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery - Lakeside Chapel on Friday, January 21st, 2022, with family and close friends.  Visitation from 2:00pm to 3:00pm will be followed by the funeral service at 3:00pm..

A celebration of life will be held at Primrose Retirement Community of Kansas City, her last residence, at 3:30pm, where she loved and was loved by staff and friends.

Her smile and zest for life will live on in our hearts.  She was truly loved by all.
